Gold Country Classic, LLC invites you to participate in the 23nd annual Gold Country Classic Men’s Gymnastics competition being held at Oakland Marriott City Center on February 11-13, 2011. The primary reason for this event is to raise funds that go toward training and travel expenses for aspiring athletes. We have several different options and levels of comitment avalible.
We are seeking support from businesses and individuals interested in promoting health, fitness and personal development for children since proceeds from this event directly benefit gymnasts. Our goal to raise over $50,000 to raise much needed funds to help gymnasts train toward obtaining their personal goals.
This is a unique opportunity to increase your visibility in the community and support today’s youth. Little known fact: Each competitive gymnast requires an average of $4,000 a year, at the beginning levels, and costs can rise to over $8,000 per year for Level 10 and Elite gymnasts to train and compete.
Children who participate in gymnastics gain skills that carry over into all areas of their lives. They gain physical strength, fitness, flexibility and coordination, while learning to set goals and stay dedicated towards accomplishing them. This competition has drawn competitive teams and hundreds of gymnasts and their families from the across the USA as well as attracting many international gymnasts.
